Section 3

TSG works closely with contractors and agency staff to ensure compliance with Section 3 as laid out by HUD and in 24 CFR Part 75. TSG ensures the required forms, benchmark percentages, and reasonable best efforts are communicated clearly to contractors upfront so that they understand the requirements. TSG collects and reviews documentation from contractors on Section 3 workers and business concerns and tracks percentages so that all parties are aware of contractor’s attainment in real time. TSG collects and reviews evidence of best efforts to confirm compliance. TSG also aids in reporting to other agencies/funding sources regarding the client agency’s compliance.
