A union on one project repeatedly contacted County upper management regarding perceived apprentice violations by the (non-union) contractor performing the work. This eventually led to a union rep breaking into a County facility. TSG researched the issue and spoke with the DAS and the contractor to get a clear answer. We then got the union to accept the DAS opinion that no violation had occurred, lowering the temperature on the situation and preventing potential fines from the DIR and the California Apprentice Council (CAC) for owed training.
