TSG Inclusivity Policy
Inclusivity is part of the TSG corporate culture. Our inclusivity policies and procedures have been developed to ensure our work environment reflects the diversity of the communities in which we work. Our Inclusivity Policy encompasses all facets of our business including recruiting, vendor selection, and subcontractor outreach and selection.
To ensure diversity and equity when recruiting new employees, our hiring process includes using platforms that target minorities, women, and seniors. We use multiple staff to interview candidates to eliminate any potential discrimination based on race, color, religion, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, or military status. We also have a summer intern program for local high school and college students to expose them to the workforce and encourage the next generation to participate in our industry.
When selecting vendors to supply technical services, equipment, accounting/legal services, or office supplies, our staff places an emphasis on searching for minority-, women-, and disabled veteran-owned businesses. These businesses are added to the bidders list when we solicit competitive bids. Price alone is not the deciding factor for contract award. Our staff also interviews the top ranked firms using experience and capability criteria before the final selection.
TSG performs extensive research and outreach to small and disadvantaged businesses when a subcontractor need is identified. As a consulting firm performing outreach to small businesses on behalf of our clients, we have a large, internal database of small and disadvantaged businesses. Solicitations of interest are sent to the firms that perform the required services. Follow up is conducted with interested firms with the final selection based on compatibility, experience, capability, and price.
