TSG serves as the Community and Student Workforce Project Agreement (CSWPA) Administrator, Jobs Coordinator, SBE Outreach Manager, and Labor Compliance Administrator for multiple construction and renovation projects for the District. Supporting the achievement of CSWPA goals is a key responsibility for TSG, given the District’s uniquely challenging local hire goal of 60%. TSG informs stakeholders at pre-bid/pre-construction meetings of the requirements, reporting methods, and procedures and resources available to assist contractors in achieving the District’s goals. To help local residents learn about the apprenticeship and training programs, TSG conducts outreach alongside the trade unions and District, and makes referrals for career entry points. TSG is also responsible for mitigating/resolving grievances. Utilizing a neutral and proactive approach, TSG assists all parties in understanding their rights and obligations to facilitate dispute resolution. TSG provides reports to the District and maintains an open line of communication to ensure program goals are clearly tracked and communicated.
