Established in 1996 by State legislation, the California High Speed Rail Authority has a statutory mandate to plan, build, and operate a high-speed rail system in coordination with California’s existing transportation network, particularly intercity rail and bus lines, commuter rail lines, urban rail transit lines, highways and airports. The system will serve the transportation needs of Californians from San Diego to San Francisco. TSG was a subcontractor to Parsons Brinckerhoff Americas, who provided Program/Project Management services to the Authority.
TSG provided specialized expertise in the following contract administration areas: procurement policy development; preparation of construction contract documents; proposal analysis; contract administration and management; change order analysis; assistance with claims avoidance, mitigation and resolution; document compliance with Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) Grant and Funding Agreements, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and state requirements.
